Multi-Channel and Multiplexing Telemetry Systems

For applications that require more than one channel of data, ATi offers multi-channel telemetry systems and multiplexing telemetry systems.

Multi-Channel Telemetry Systems
Multi-channel systems use several to many single channel transmitters grouped together. Multi-channel systems are typically used on applications where a higher bandwidth signal is needed.

Multiplexing Telemetry Systems
Multiplexing systems are typically used on applications with a high channel count, but where bandwidth is less of an issue. Throughputs of up to 1000 samples/second/channel can be achieved with a 4-channel multiplexing transmitter. Multiplexing transmitters are available from 4 to 32-channels in increments of 4.

Hybrid Telemetry Systems
Multi-channel and multiplexing transmitters can be mixed together within the same system. This is particularly useful in applications where both high and low bandwidth signals, such as stain gages and thermocouples, are of interest.
