Tire and Wheel Testing Systems

Tire and Wheel Testing Systems can be custom designed and manufactured for practically any application. ATi designed and built this custom system, shown to the right, for a major defense contractor. The inductively powered system is used to wirelessly measure tire pressure and temperature during testing. The system also incorporates a valve for incremental pressure adjustment or immediate deflation in an emergency.

Transmitters are available for any sensor input including, strain gages, thermocouples, RTDs, voltage, amperage, etc. Custom systems with assorted input types and numbers can be manufactured for as required. Onboard sensor excitation and signal conditioning is also contained within the transmitters. In addition to the display, the stationary receiver provides real time analog outputs that can be recorded for further analyzing. Analog outputs can be ±2 VDC, ±5 VDC, ±10 VDC, 4-20 mA or other tailored to your requirements.

Systems are available in battery powered, rechargeable or inductively powered, depending on the system requirements.
